Community Grants Application

Community Grants Criteria

The Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast awards grants averaging $5,000 each to selected organizations on an annual basis. The application process typically begins in January of each year and grant funds are distributed in the spring.

For a grant to be considered, an applying organization must meet the following criteria:

  • CHARITABLE. Funds must be used for a charitable purpose by a 501(c)3, non-profit organization.
  • LOCAL. Funds must be used within Greene and Christian counties.
  • COMMUNITY BENEFIT. Requests for funds must address a community need. Grants for general operating expenses are discouraged.
  • RECOGNITION. Organizations that receive a grant are required to promote awareness of the Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast.
